Pioneers-Africa
Strategic Priorities
Training
Africa is strategically placed and endowed with spiritual and
human resources to have a major influence on global evangelism.
The church is growing rapidly on the continent and yet we recognize
that until the Lord has shaped the vessel, it will not fully serve
God’s purpose. There is a huge need for training and Pioneers-Africa
has entered into a partnership with Leadership Resources International,
a Chicago based evangelical mission agency committed to equipping
and encouraging church leaders across the world We have had two
conferences that brought together National Leaders from Mali,
Togo, Benin, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Guinea and Ghana.
The next conference is scheduled for January 2006 and consciously
and intentionally geared towards stimulating growth in five significant
areas of life and ministry:
1) Biblical knowledge
2) Ministry skills
3) Character growth
4) Relationships
5) Multiplication
Pioneers-Togo
The Pioneers-Togo has two training bases, the School of Discipleship
(EcoDis) situated in Lome with the primary goal of promoting discipleship
within the local churches and Pioneers Center for Missionary Training
(PCMT) situated at Bassar about 398km from the capital Lome. PCMT
has since its inception trained over 100 students from five different
African countries.

THE BIG NEWS!
The entire household of Pioneers-Africa again entered the second quarter with a week of fasting and prayer to call on God basically to lead the way for the next three months and to be at work in the movement.
Between Feb 5 th -7th, the biannual leadership training, a partnership between Pioneers-Africa and Leadership Resource International continued. Significantly, staff are using this training to impact various levels of Christian leadership on the field.
Alongside the men's meeting was a first ever Pioneers-Africa Women leadership conference. The aim of this programme was to foster stronger fellowship between colleagues, envision ladies and to help them take their rightful leadership positions on the field alongside their husbands. This meeting was blessed with a main speaker, a sister from the Moraine Valley Church in the USA. The programme turned out to be a huge success as ladies gave various encouraging testimonies and as we are already seeing our women live out the objectives of the meeting. |
Church Relations is on-going and the latest addition to our list of church partnerships is the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry at North-Legon in Accra-Ghana. We hope our association will bring mutual growth to our various ministries.
