Summer Team Africa

Short Term Missions

Since the year 1996 Pioneers-Africa missionaries have been hosting short term missionary teams from America, Australia, China and other parts of the world.

Pioneers Africa missionaries are in 9 countries in Africa serving the Lord among the unreached tribes of Africa. They live as close as possible to commercial centers where they can have access to communication facilities but work among the hard and difficult to reach people groups.

Get ready to be a part of what God is doing in Africa as you join Pioneers- Africa’s Missionaries to show the love of Christ to many unreached people groups. It is a life time experience and you will be glad you are a part of this. Remember this is where the action is now as far as missions is concerned.

For more information on our summer team programs please contact the Director of the country of your choice.

Church Planting News:

Pioneers- Ghana in partnership with seven short term ministry teams from the U.S, conducted gospel campaigns in more than 16 remote and deprived villages across the country.
Some of the villages are Bissue, Aminem, Makyere, Bayere Nkwanta in the Ashanti Region, Abirifakrom & Kaneagu in the Brong Ahafo Region, Koala, Bakwala, Fatsui, and Buoti all in the Upper West Region. While in the Upper West Region, a Muslim heartland, we got word that a Muslim Chief had given the approval for us to come over to his village to share the gospel. We hurried to the village at 6 p.m and within an hour; the chief himself had the gong-gong beaten to gather his people.

We showed the Jesus Film by the mosque. This was the first time that the village was hearing the gospel. We needed someone to translate from the Sissala language into their dialect. God made us use a Muslim gentleman and the passion with which he served left no one in doubt that the spirit of God was using him. We asked him later if he would consider giving his life to Christ, he instantly had both hands raised in surrender!

Half of the crowd rushed to the front altar call was made. We couldn’t help but go back to the village after three days to tell the Jesus story again and minister to the people.
