BRIEF HISTORY

"Pioneers-Africa is a dream from God Himself.! It is
like a volcano begging to explode!!"......... Solomon
Aryeetey (Founder and Director) .

PIONEERS-AFRICA started in a small village called
Macina in Mali. Macina at the time had a very large
population of Fulanis who were nomads and
categorized as very un reached. They were also very poor with
severe health problems.

This was the village that became the home of
Dr .Solomon Aryeetey (MD) and his wife Letitia
(an attorney) having been deployed by Pioneers USA.

They gave up their professions to live amongst and
witness to these Fulanis. God gave them grace to
adapt to the life style, proclaim the gospel with
boldness, persuading the people to accept Jesus as
their Savior and Lord.

Their sacrifices and efforts were greatly rewarded and
the seed of the gospel yielded much fruit. From
Macina and the surrounding villages, Fulanis and
other tribes men and women came to receive the Lord Jesus and
were discipled. Some of these disciples have currently taken
over the mantle of leadership in Mali.Ater 8 years of service, they

they moved to Ghana with the vision to establish an office to help
spread the gospel further.

THE VISION

Pioneers mobilizes teams to glorify God amongst the
unreached people groups by initiating church planting
movements in partnership with the local church.
Pioneers' main target are the rural poor who have not
heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pioneers- Africa endeavors to:

1.   Create missions awareness through out the continent of Africa

2.  Recruit and mobilize the local church for missions in Africa

3.  Train Missionaries to be fully equipped to help
fulfill the great commission. It is the desire of Pioneers Africa to spearhead an indigenous Africa      church planting movement.

4. Send African Missionaries out to the unreached in Africa in partnership with the local church.

5.  Serve as a FAMILY HOUSE for all who promote and uphold the indigenous African Mission       effort.

6.  Pioneers Africa seeks to serve as a Nerve Center that keeps the Vision of Missions in Africa      alive.

7.  Provide leadership as she networks with others to ensure that these goals and objectives are      fulfilled

8.  Mobilize resources for the mission

Currently Pioneers-Africa has offices in 9 African countries including Ghana, Togo, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso, Gabon and Cote d'Ivoire and Guinea.

There are 164 missionaries serving Pioneers-Africa presently in these various countries. God has used these dedicated servants to reach thousands of unsaved souls and provided drinking water for several villages. The organization apart from spreading the gospel also embarks on some humanitarian services in partnership with churches and other organizations as the need arises. These include providing free Medical / Dental Care, providing clothing and flip-flops for orphanages and villages, building Church Pavilions and provision of bore-holes to provide clean portable drinking water for the rural poor.
